Paper 1 : Teaching and Research Aptitude
This paper test the teaching and research aptitude of the aspirants. objective of this paper is to check the passion towards teaching and research knowledge of the aspirants.

This paper consists of ten units here i will share the unit wise study material and video tutorials.
Unit 01 : Teaching Aptitude
- this chapter aims to check the candidates approach towards teaching profession and his / her passion towards teaching.
- it also further covers the various aspects like concept of teaching, various teaching methodologies and various evaluation methods available for a teacher.
- Five Questions will be asked from this chapter in NET/KSET examination and each of that question carries 2 marks.

Unit 02 : Research Aptitude
- This chapter tests the research mind of the candidate. Research increases the defectiveness of the teaching so a good teacher should have research mindset to become a successful teacher.
- In this chapter the concepts like research and its approaches, types of research and steps involved in the research Methods of ding research, research ethics and use of technology in conducting the research will be covered.
- Five Questions will be asked from this chapter in NET/KSET examination and each of that question carries 2 marks.
Unit 03 : Comprehension
- A passage of text be given. Questions be asked from the passage to be answered.
- The Understanding ability of the candidate will be tested in this chapter.
- Five Questions will be asked from this chapter in NET/KSET examination and each of that question carries 2 marks.
Unit 04 : Communication
- This chapter tests the communication skills of the candidate
- For a teacher communication is the very crucial and important criteria to reach the audience. Hence the concept of communication, Process of communication, essentials of effective communication, barriers to communication etc will be covered.
- Five Questions will be asked from this chapter in NET/KSET examination and each of that question carries 2 marks.
Unit 05 : Mathematical Reasoning and Aptitude
- This chapter tries to test the reasoning ability and aptitude.
- Along with the subject proficiency the general knowledge plays very important role for a teacher. In this chapter questions will be asked on number series, Letter series, Coding & decoding, Relationships, Fraction, Time & Distance, Ratio, Proportion and
Percentage, Profit and Loss, Interest and Discounting, Averages etc - Five Questions will be asked from this chapter in NET/KSET examination and each of that question carries 2 marks.
Unit 06 : Logical Reasoning
- In this Chapter the reasoning ability of the aspirant.
- Understanding the structure of arguments: argument forms, structure of categorical propositions, Mood and Figure, Formal and Informal fallacies, Uses of language, Connotations and denotations of terms, Classical square of opposition.
Evaluating and distinguishing deductive and inductive reasoning. Analogies. Venn diagram: Simple and multiple use for establishing validity of arguments. Indian Logic: Means of knowledge. Pramanas: Pratyaksha (Perception), Anumana (Inference), Upamana (Comparison), Shabda (Verbal testimony), Arthapatti (Implication) and
Anupalabddhi (Non-apprehension). Structure and kinds of Anumana (inference), Vyapti (invariable relation),
Hetvabhasas (fallacies of inference). - Five Questions will be asked from this chapter in NET/KSET examination and each of that question carries 2 marks.
Unit 07 : Data Interpretation
- In this chapter data analyzing & interpreting ability of of the aspirants
- Sources, acquisition and classification of Data. Quantitative and Qualitative Data. Graphical representation (Bar-chart, Histograms, Pie-chart, Table-chart and Line-chart) and mapping of Data. Data Interpretation. Data and Governance.
- Five Questions will be asked from this chapter in NET/KSET examination and each of that question carries 2 marks.
Unit 08 : Information and Communication Technology (ICT)
- This Chapter Concentrate on ICT used in the class room and various IT infrastructure for education
- General abbreviations and terminology. Basics of Internet, Intranet, E-mail, Audio and Video-conferencing. Digital initiatives in higher education. ICT and Governance.
- Five Questions will be asked from this chapter in NET/KSET examination and each of that question carries 2 marks.
Unit 09 : People, Development and Environment
- In this chapter candidate’s general awareness towards people and environment will be asked.
- Development and environment: Millennium development and Sustainable development goals. Human and environment interaction: Anthropogenic activities and their impacts on environment. Environmental issues: Local, Regional and Global; Air pollution, Water pollution, Soil pollution, Noise pollution, Waste (solid, liquid, biomedical, hazardous, electronic), Climate change and its Socio-Economic and Political dimensions. Impacts of pollutants on human health. Natural and energy resources: Solar, Wind, Soil, Hydro, Geothermal, Biomass, Nuclear and Forests. Natural hazards and disasters: Mitigation strategies. Environmental Protection Act (1986), National Action Plan on Climate Change, International agreements/efforts -Montreal Protocol, Rio Summit, Convention on Biodiversity, Kyoto Protocol, Paris Agreement, International Solar Alliance.
- Five Questions will be asked from this chapter in NET/KSET examination and each of that question carries 2 marks.
Unit 10 : Higher Education System
- In this chapter the knowledge about Higher education system of India will be tested.
- Institutions of higher learning and education in ancient India. Evolution of higher learning and research in Post Independence India. Oriental, Conventional and Non-conventional learning programmes in India. Professional, Technical and Skill Based education. Value education and environmental education. Policies, Governance, and Administration.
- Five Questions will be asked from this chapter in NET/KSET examination and each of that question carries 2 marks.

Hello sir, I am watching your all video regarding net or kset, it’s very useful to us,but one confusion for me regarding questions on ICT, question is A computer is that machine which works more like human brain, this definition of computer a. Correct b . Incorrect c. Partially correct d. None of those. You answered is option a is correct ans but I studied in one more book they said option C is correct ans. Plz plz clear my confusion sir which is correct. You videos are really helpful me.
